My Evil System

Chapter 137 It’s Time Claim The Interest . . .

[BONUS]

<Welcome back, Evil Host>

I didn\'t reply and only stared at the kid who was peacefully sleeping on the bed.

<Do you want to add this town to the main quest?>

No.

What fun would it be if I destroyed this town in a single night?

I wiped away the tears in my eyes, feeling disgusted for my other self.

I was not surprised, though.

Leave it to him to create problems that he couldn\'t resolve.

And now I was stuck in this room with this . . . RAGE that sought to end all those who wronged this kid and me, or I wouldn\'t be able to sleep at night.

System.

<Yes, Host?>

Do you have a quest that would give me enough Evil Points to buy that [Evil Pocket Dimension]?

Good.

They have taken gil from me . . . now it was time to claim it back together with the interest.

Using [Evil Eyes], I found my first target in town, in the narrow alleyways near the red light district where gambling and prostitution ran rampant.

He did me a favor by going to his grave on his own. Killing him there wouldn\'t raise any brows, for death was a normal occurrence there every night.

I still had one [Teleportation] skill left for the day, so I went there.

I saw him talking to some players with his notebook and quilt in hand. He seemed harmless at first, bringing your guard down with his sweet talk and weak smile. He would make you believe that he couldn\'t hurt a fly . . . but inside . . . he was the wickedest of them all.

Using only his words, he could sell even souls.

When he finished writing his scope for the day, he rounded a corner and proceeded to the narrow back shortcut. Passing the few flights of stairs back to the main city, he didn\'t notice me prompt beside the shadow of a building.

"Hello, Jorge," I called him.

He stopped, eyes squinting in the dark, prying for my face as I went forward towards the light of the lamp by the post.

Jorge released an exasperated sigh. "Oh. It\'s only you. You scared me there for a moment."

I folded my hands and tilted my head back, looking down at him under the bridge of my nose. "Scared? It\'s just me, Jorge. The noob who you sold for gil."

Jorge\'s forehead creased into a frown. "Sold?"

"Isn\'t it true that you\'re the one who sold my information to the others, saying that I have a lot of gil for them to exploit?"

Jorge stared me in the eyes before he let out a laugh. "So you finally knew? I thought that you would never find out," he told me, no longer denying anything.

"I didn\'t know at first," I admitted, "but then I realized that you have this . . . rare item that lets you see other players\' stats, their gil included."

Jorge smile dropped. His face twisting, showing the man he truly was. "How do you know of that?"

I stifled a laugh and went closer to him. "You\'re not the only one who had that kind of ability. Too bad that you couldn\'t see other people\'s items and abilities, ey?"

Reclaiming a little bit of his calm, Jorge stepped back a little and shrugged. "I\'m only doing this to survive, just like the others. Nothing personal."

I captured his eyes. "A lie doesn\'t become truth. Wrong doesn\'t become right. And Evil doesn\'t become good just because it\'s accepted by the majority."

I saw him cower, shrinking by the second under my pressured gaze.

I let go of his eyes and beamed. "Of course, I don\'t fault you for doing everything you can to save yourself. In fact, I applaud you . . . I would leave you alone if only you didn\'t cross me."

I closed our gap and enunciated each word. "You see . . . the moment you sold my information . . . everything became personal."

Jorge looked at me for a moment before he laughed. "So what are you going to do, noob? Have you forgotten? I came here months ago. And even if I\'m not a combatant type, my ATP is already near the hundreds."

My smile widened, and the smirk on his face cracked under my anger-filled gaze.

"It looks like your item isn\'t rare enough to spot a lie. Why don\'t you take a look at my stat again and tell me what you see." I dared him.

Jorge gave me a pointed glare. He paused for a moment and blinked rapidly, rubbing his eyes continuously before he finally settled his gaze on me.

"Y-you . . ." He was bathing with his own sweat now, and he couldn\'t form coherent words from how badly he was shaken.

"Did you see it?" I asked and leaned closer for a whisper. "Do you feel it? That bit in your leg, that\'s fear. That audible gulp you just made . . . that\'s inevitability."

Jorge fell down on his knees, face against the ground, as he begged for forgiveness. "I\'m sorry! P-please d-don\'t kill me. I-I\'ll do whatever–!"

He didn\'t get to finish his sentence when half his head rolled on the ground, leaving his tongue twisting outside of his mouth.

<5 000 Evil Points rewarded to Host for successfully killing a player with ATP nearing the hundreds!>

<You have acquired Spy Monocle!>

Lucy vibrated in my hands. It had been days since it lost fed on blood. It wanted more, or it would feed on me.

Calm down!

I gave it a hard swing, spraying blood on the ground in the process.

The night had only begun.

We still have more blood to claim.

Lucy released a low growl of satisfaction, and we moved to our next target.

On the verge of leaving, a voice suddenly sounded, making me pause.

The voice reminded me of trilling birds and the buzzing of bees — a voice possessing all the sweetness of spring.

Then came a woman of ethereal beauty. Long black wavy hair rested on her bare shoulders. Her phoenix eyes twinkled, and her seductive red lips pouted in a charming smile.

She wore a thin nightgown, and her luminescent porcelain skin glowed through its thin sheets. The cleavage of her breasts almost slipped from the low hem of her gown when she folded her arms underneath her chest.

"Hmm . . . I know that I felt something strange . . ."
