Chapter 130 Fight, Death

The moment that the Gojira roared, another sound came. And this time, it was from behind Jake.

Jake turned around to see through another bush that something else was coming. Something big.

It was what Jake was waiting for. The other dinosaur. It was running toward a small shadow, which quickly evaded an attack, when the giant dinosaur stopped. It looked up at the true giant in the forest.

The Gojira looked down at the two dinosaurs who had come to its territory and it was absolutely furious that there were people in its space, where it was the king.

"So you are hiding here. How long have you been here?" Myriad Arrows appeared next to Jake.

"I came here just now. But since the Gojira is preoccupied, we can focus on retrieving the computer." Jake said.

Both of them snuck through the bushes as they got closer and closer to the Gojira\'s feet. The three parties were only looking at each other and roaring. No one made a move yet.

The Gojira didn\'t make a move because it didn\'t need to. It knew that the fight would be won without much discussion. But as for the two dinosaurs, they didn\'t make a move because they didn\'t want to die in vain.

And as for Jake, he knew that if this went on like it did, the distraction that they would provide would be minimal.

Jake rushed toward the red pin on his locator. He could soon see a bubble in the middle of the clearing that the Gojira called home.

"Let us both get there so that when the Gojira does see us, we can split and the Gojira won\'t know which one to attack. That is better than giving it the chance to kill the person with the computer." Jake said.

"Sounds good." Myriad Arrows nodded.

Both of them rushed to the open, and when they did, the fight started. The three parties involved weren\'t interested in the two humans that were lurking around.

Jake rushed to the bubble with the laptop inside, and he touched the bubble with his bracelet, and the bubble popped, revealing the laptop.

He immediately collected the laptop into his inventory, and the fight was still going on, to his joy. Each attack of the Gojira was taking out maybe a third of the HP of the dinosaurs that were reduced to mere children in front of it.

Jake was about to make a dash for it, when he stopped. His eyes fixed on a single point.

"What are you waiting for? Let us get going!" Myriad Arrows urged, but Jake couldn\'t let it go.

Forget everything that he had in his inventory right now. It was worth risking all of that just for what he laid his eyes on.

"Take every thing I have and put it in your inventory." Jake said as he dropped the crystal and the weapons that he had taken before as well a the laptop that was needed to complete the quest.

"What are you doing?" Myriad Arrows asked.

"Just take these and run. None of the dinosaurs are looking at you!" Jake shouted back. He had no time to explain.

"Fine." Myriad Arrows said as he took in all of those precious items from the ground and darted toward the forest.

He was gone in the wind, and if all was going to go well, he would be out of sight for a long while.

Jake smiled. His inventory was bare now. He had given everything that he had to Myriad Arrows, trusting him on a huge gamble now.

"This had better work out." Jake took a deep breath as he started running in full speed toward the place that caught his eye in the first place.

He did feel the sound of the fighting ease down. One of the dinosaurs was probably dead already. That was quick, but Jake expected it. Everything was going according to plan except for what he was doing right here. What he was doing was nothing short of suicide.

He charged toward what was a nest. It was a nest made out of branches and Jake could barely climb onto it. But when he did, he looked at the three eggs in there that were larger than Jake himself.

And even that, was tame. To think that from eggs this small, a giant like the Gojira came out was fascinating. But Jake didn\'t have time to think about any of that.

The moment he touched one of them, he heard a roar. And this time, he knew that the roar was directed toward him. The Gojira was done fighting. The two dinosaurs were dead, and now, it saw that a pest was in front of it\'s eggs? It\'s children? That was simple unacceptable.

It roared as it got closer to Jake. One step and it crossed half the distance.

"Quickly. Take it into the inventory!" Jake lifted it off the ground, and poof! It vanished! The egg was gone.

Jake was about to reach for the second one, but it was too late. He jumped, but he was stuck mid air. He felt a tight constriction around his abdomen that was tightening.

He was in the Gojira\'s grip. The Gojira brought Jake higher up, closer to is face, and turned the helpless Jake around to look at its frightening face.

Its two eyes, yellow and gigantic, glared at the fly in the Gojira\'s hands. That was what Jake was in the Gojira\'s eyes. A mere fly. And yet, this fly managed to make one of its children disappear.

As it brought Jake closer to its eyes, it seemed to tell him to return the egg, and it would spare him. But Jake smiled. He wasn\'t afraid of death. It was all going to be worth it as long as this worked.

The Gojira understood that smirk and snorted, its claws tightening more and Jake\'s vision went blank.
